The Topless Tour 2008 edition will begin in 33 days. The roadster is all ready to go, greased, oil change, trunk packed with tools and spare parts and best of all I just finished the new cowl vent addition, tired of warm feet.
I will be meeting Barry in Des Moines on the 27th of May, from there we plan to visit Dale Boesch Hot Rods in Humphrey NE and onto my hometown of Alliance for the night. Thursday we head for Loveland CO for the kickoff party of the GoodGuys Colorado show. We will spend the weekend at the show, Sunday PM Rodney flies into Denver to ride with me for a week. After a visit with John Stranges, an old friend from Walgreens in CT now living in Denver we will head over the mountains. Gateway auto museum by Grand Junction, Montrose, CO and Cortez to see more old friends. From there we will drive thru Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, into Las Vegas. This year we are really taking our time and seeing the sites and traveling 2 lanes as much as possible.
I will write more as the countdown continues and then of course when we are traveling I will post nightly updates. I can hardle wait!!
