Since the 3W is almost done, well the body work is about 80% done, hope to have it in paint by mid April, I just had to get a new project.....for next winter. I found a project started by Cornhusker Rod & custom in Nebraska, a roller Brookville Roadster pickup. It is set up for a SBC, has a Camero 5 speed , Winters quickchange rear. It is stretched 4 inches in the hood, frame bobbed in front with a 5 inch dropped axle and a monoleaf. The rear frame has been kicked up several inches and has a short 36 inch box. Looks pretty cool. I opted for the 37degree laid back windshield by Stanley Wanlass for a cool look. This will be a fun car to build and drive.
We left this morning about for the short drive to Lincoln, 500 miles, Saturday we will attend the Midwest Deuce club spring meeting, take in the swap meet (in door one) on Sunday, load up the RPU Sunday afternoon and head for home Monday morning.
We might hit some rain on Monday and since she is bare metal, I brought a giant roll of industrial Seran wrap (thanks Terry Yager) and some boat shrink wrap Thanks to Brandy from Miller Auto. I hope that will keep her dry. I will try to post some photos Sunday night.
