We drove to Montrose to visit old friend Joe, big surprise for him! From there we went to the Gateway Museum, such a Classy museum. All the cars were 100 point restorations, nothing shabby at all. The 3 million dollar f88 Olds was a sight to see! The scenery today was outstanding as well as the road conditions. We drove into Telluride, Co and then onto Cortez, arriving about 8PM. About 400 miles, visits and a museum tour...a good day. In the morning we will head towards the north rim of the Grand Canyon going thru Monument Valley on the way.
