Monday
Tom was at the hotel at 6:45, we were on the road by 7AM. Jack, Tom in their roadsters and Rodney and me. It as quite cold. I think the temp was 45 as we left Denver and as we got over Vail pass it was in the high 30's. A tshirt, hooddy sweat shirt, the Vintique jacket, heater on and the seat heaters on...we were cozy.
The Eisenhower tunnel is always exciting to drive thru, Vail pass is very pretty, somewhere around 9,000 ft. The air was thin.
We had a lunch at a great rib place in Grand Junstion, I have been there severasl times with the roadsters.
Our stop for the night was Beaver UT, 540 miles. We had dinner and went to bed. A fun day, but we all were tired.
